Harvest Moon®: Echoes of Teradea All 10 marriage candidates
Last updated 2026-10-18. Checked against the sources below.
Harvest Moon®: Echoes of Teradea has 10 base-game romance names: 5 bachelors and 5 bachelorettes. Each save has 9 eligible partners, regardless of gender: your own protagonist is excluded, but the unchosen one is available. Compare birthdays and favorite gifts below; each profile includes all six heart-event triggers. DLC candidates are listed separately.

Why some guides list 11: the DLC candidates
Neoseeker combines Carol or Robert into one row, adds the other eight base-game NPCs, then adds Emmy and Zog: 9 base-game choices plus 2 DLC choices. Our ten-name table above lists both protagonist names and keeps those DLC additions separate.
Neoseeker reports Emmy in Tidewind after completing Nera’s Rescue Operation, and Zog in Quarrytop after completing Gorgan’s Family Dispute. These are DLC-dependent entries, not extra candidates in the base game. This guide does not verify current DLC store availability or price.
| DLC candidate | Birthday | Favorite gift | Required story |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emmy | Summer 18 | Emerald | Nera's Rescue Operation (DLC) |
| Zog | Winter 5 | Warming Mushrooms au Gratin | Gorgan's Family Dispute (DLC) |
Gifts and heart-event progression
- Neoseeker reports one gift per person per day. A liked gift gives twice a neutral gift’s friendship; a favorite gives three times. Disliked gifts give none and still consume that day’s gift opportunity.
- On a birthday, any non-disliked gift counts as a favorite. The item lists are specific: a liked flower or fish is not evidence that every flower or fish works.
- Each of six heart levels has an event letter. Events 1 and 3 begin by talking to the candidate; 2, 4, 5 and 6 require meeting at the stated place and time. Track the letter’s request for its map marker.
- The childhood friend and Jane start after the prologue; Aaron and Mara after Tidewind Chapter 1; Hank and Lorelei after Quarrytop Chapter 1; Bryce and Shirley after Maplehill Chapter 1; Sergei after Harvest Goddess Chapter 1.
- Bad weather can cancel outdoor meetings. Events 1-4 wait during festivals in that candidate’s town; events 5-6 wait during festivals anywhere.
Full six-event location/time tables are on the ten linked profiles. These meeting windows are not verified daily NPC schedules; weekday, weekend and rainy-day routines remain unverified.
When the wedding actually happens
fogu places marriage after the primary story. Earlier friendship events have their own regional gates; do not treat every character scene as postgame.
After event 4, Neoseeker says a Token of Love unlocks the romance route and events 5 and 6. Tiny crafts it at the Harvest Goddess Statue Altar for 10 Red Rose and 10 Diamond. The recipe opens the morning after anyone’s fourth event, if Harvest Goddess Chapter 1 is complete.
To propose, Neoseeker requires event 6, a Level 3 house, the Blue Feather received at the end of Harvest Goddess Chapter 2, and no existing proposal to someone else. Hold the feather and give it to your lover. The guide reports a wedding roughly a week later, with the preparation period announced in game.
Source checks
On 18 October 2026 I read Neoseeker’s full Gift Guide, Marriage Candidates guide and all four town romance pages. Its 11 entries merge Carol/Robert into one choice and include two DLC candidates; that is not a claim of 11 base-game names. These are sourced guide values, not our own playtest.
Questions this page answers
Who are the marriage candidates?
The ten base-game names are Robert, Carol, Jane, Aaron, Mara, Bryce, Shirley, Sergei, Hank, and Lorelei. Your own protagonist is excluded, leaving nine choices per save. Neoseeker lists Emmy and Zog separately as DLC candidates.
Can you marry someone of the same gender?
Yes. The only hard exclusion is the protagonist you are already playing.
When can you get married?
After the primary story. Neoseeker also specifies heart event 6, a Level 3 house, the Blue Feather from Harvest Goddess Chapter 2 and no previous proposal to another candidate.
Are daily schedules included?
The individual profiles give the six heart-event meeting locations and times. A complete daily routine by weekday, weather and story stage was not verified.
