Last updated 2026-10-18. Checked against the sources below.

Hank is a base-game bachelor in Quarrytop Village. Birthday: Winter 11. Favorite gift: Coal Box. The first heart event requires 1 heart after Quarrytop Chapter 1. The tables below give Neoseeker's reported preferences and event triggers, recorded on 18 October 2026.

These are item-specific preferences, not blanket rules for crops, flowers or fish. Neoseeker reports one gift per person per day; liked gifts give twice the friendship of a neutral gift, favorites three times. On a birthday, a non-disliked gift counts as a favorite. This is guide-sourced data, not our own playtest.

Six heart events: requirements, locations and times

The first event opens after Quarrytop Chapter 1, not simply after meeting Hank. Neoseeker says each new heart level sends a letter and further friendship waits for that event. Read the letter, track its request and follow the musical-note marker.

Events 1 and 3 start by talking to the candidate. The other rows are meeting triggers, not the destination of every scene. For events 5 and 6, first give a Token of Love after event 4.

Source: Neoseeker: Quarrytop heart events, read on 18 October 2026. Neoseeker says bad weather cancels most outdoor meetings; events 1-4 wait during festivals in this candidate's town, while events 5-6 wait during festivals anywhere. A row without a time is not proof of 24-hour availability.

Where to find Hank outside events

Quarrytop Village is the sourced home location. The event table gives specific meeting points and windows, not a daily walking timetable. Weekday, weekend, rainy-day and post-story routines were not verified in the sources checked on 18 October 2026.

Background and main-story appearances

Hank came to Quarrytop as a treasure hunter and adventurer and did not leave.

His personal romance sequence includes cave expeditions. Use the event marker and time windows above rather than treating every mining quest as a heart event.

Rules that apply to every candidate, including Hank

Source checks

I read Neoseeker’s complete Quarrytop romance page on 18 October 2026. Its cave-event marker is more useful than guessing a cave name; the source does not supply coordinates or a daily walking schedule. These details retain the earlier source reading from this date. A later HTTP recheck of the six Neoseeker references returned security-check pages (403), so that pass is not an independent confirmation.
